Henry Méndez

Henry Méndez is a Dominican singer born in Santo Domingo in 1974 who moved with his family to Sant Quirze del Vallès (Barcelona). Coming from hip hop and rap, he broadened his range to pop, reggaeton, house and dance. His breakthrough came in 2012 with «Rayos de sol», recorded with José de Rico, which reached number 2 in the Spanish chart and entered the charts in France, Belgium and Switzerland. In 2013 he released «Mi reina» as a solo artist, a song he performed in the film La llamada (2017), and in 2014 he put out his first album, Dale Mambo.
