Festivals in La Rioja

Logroño and Calahorra are home to most of the festivals in La Rioja, each with a different profile. In Calahorra, the electronic and urban music of Holika Festival, in July, sits alongside the rock and pop of Festival Gran Reserva. Logroño hosts MUWI La Rioja Music Fest, spread across venues such as the Casco Antiguo, La Laurel and Bodegas Olarra, and, in January, Festival Actual.

Summer is the main season. July adds Rockland Fest, in Santo Domingo de la Calzada, while August divides the calendar between Ezcaray Fest and the folk of Sierra Sonora Verano, in Viniegra de Abajo.
