David Otero

A Madrid-born singer, guitarist and songwriter born in 1980 and a cousin of Dani Martín, he was the guitarist and songwriter of El Canto del Loco until the band split in 2010. That year he went solo as El Pescao with Nada lógico, which reached number 2 in the Spanish sales chart, and in 2014 he released Ultramar. Since 2017 he has recorded under his own name: that year he released David Otero, followed in 2018 by 1980, a bright pop record with nods to revival and danceable rhythms. In 2024 he released Inteligencia natural.
