ETS

ETS, short for En Tol Sarmiento, is a ska band formed in 2005 in Yécora, in the Rioja Alavesa, by three teenagers who started out playing punk rock covers. The addition of trumpet and trombone settled their festive sound, and Hacia la luna (2012) gave them «Musikaren doinua», which went on to become part of the repertoire of the bands that play at local fiestas. They began singing in Spanish, but Beldurrik ez (2015) was their first album entirely in Basque. From Aukera Berriak (2019), produced with Pello Reparaz, onwards, their sound opened up to pop and reggaeton.

ETS appears in the line-ups of 4 festivals in ModoFestival's calendar. Next date: MUWI La Rioja Music Fest (Logroño), 15–17 Jul 2027.
