Fontán

Fontán is a Madrid duo formed by Samu Fontán and guitarist Carlos Alfaya. Their introspective songs combine indie rock, folk and alternative rock, with an energetic classic rock side and a more intimate one. In 2023 they released their debut EP, Viaje pendular, and in 2025 their first album, Atravesar el fuego, produced by Isaac Rico, who has worked with Sexy Zebras and Rufus T. Firefly, with lyrics about anxiety, fear of the new and personal reinvention. In 2026 they reissued it on vinyl with new artwork.

Fontán appears in the line-ups of 3 festivals in ModoFestival's calendar.
