About the festival
Festival Mediterránea 2027 now has dates and tickets on sale: it will take place on Thursday 12, Friday 13 and Saturday 14 August 2027 at Parc d'Ausiàs March in Gandía. Passes for the next edition are available from €59 plus fees, although the festival has not yet announced any artists.
That makes it a purchase based on trust. Anyone buying a pass now is betting on the format the festival has established on the Valencian coast, with three days of Spanish indie and pop in an urban park in Gandía, without yet knowing who will top the bill.
Mediterránea 2027 dates and venue
The 2027 edition keeps the 2026 format: three consecutive days, from Thursday to Saturday, in the week of 15 August. The final day, Saturday 14 August, falls on the eve of the 15 August public holiday, which in 2027 is a Sunday.
The venue remains Parc d'Ausiàs March, on Avenida de Alicante. It is an urban park, not a site on the outskirts: it is around 10 to 15 minutes' walk from Gandía's Renfe station, according to the organisers. At the last edition, two stages operated on the park's lawns, with concerts from the afternoon and DJ sets into the early hours.
2027 line-up: no artists announced yet
As of 14 October 2026, no names have been confirmed for 2027. The line-up section of the official website already carries the new edition's heading and promises new confirmations, but the list it shows is still the 2026 one, with its dates of 13 to 15 August. Those artists should not be read as part of the next edition.
What the festival's recent track record does suggest is its profile: acts with a big following on the Spanish indie scene alongside up-and-coming bands. In 2025 it was headlined by Dorian, Viva Suecia and La Casa Azul; in 2026, by Love of Lesbian, La M.O.D.A. and Siloé.
Mediterránea 2027 passes: prices and tiers
Official sales are handled by Ticketvip. When checked on 14 October 2026, two options were available:
- General pass (Promo 2): €59, plus €5.90 in booking fees.
- VIP pass (tier 2): €85, plus €8.50 in fees.
The ticketing platform also offers an optional refund guarantee of €10 per ticket, which covers specified reasons such as illness, work or transport problems. For now, no day tickets are on sale for 2027.
The benchmark for judging the price is the previous edition: in early August 2026, with the line-up already complete, that year's general pass was listed from €81. Buying now works out considerably cheaper in exchange for not knowing the programme. The names Promo 2 and tier 2 indicate that these are no longer the launch prices, so they may keep changing as sales progress.
The organisers released these passes after the August edition ended, as ModoFestival reported in its review of Mediterránea 2026 and the opening of sales for 2027.
How to get to Gandía and Parc d'Ausiàs March
From Valencia, the Cercanías C1 commuter train reaches Gandía station in about an hour. By car, the journey takes around an hour from Valencia and an hour and a quarter from Alicante via the AP-7 or the N-332. Those coming from outside the Valencian Community can connect in Valencia with the AVE or fly into Valencia or Alicante-Elche airports.
In 2026 the festival ran a shuttle bus between Playa de Gandía and the venue, with stops in the hotel area and at the L'Alqueria campsite. For 2027 that service is not yet on sale. The website also still has information on hotels in Playa de Gandía, a camper area, glamping and camping, although the published glamping prices still correspond to the nights of the last edition.
Entry rules, payment and minors
Inside the venue, payment is made with a cashless wristband that can be topped up in advance. Food and drink may not be brought in, except for a snack or small sandwich, a small bottle of water without its cap and children's food; people with diabetes or coeliac disease may bring their own food with a medical certificate. Professional cameras, selfie sticks and glass containers are also not allowed.
On minors, the two official sources do not match. The festival's homepage still states free entry up to the age of 10, while the 2027 sales page says that minors aged 0 to 15 must pay for a ticket and attend with a parent or guardian. In both cases, 16- and 17-year-olds need their own ticket and a signed authorisation. For children under 11, the sensible thing is to ask the organisers for confirmation before buying.
How Festival Mediterránea 2026 went
The previous edition took place from 13 to 15 August 2026 and, according to the organisers, drew 32,000 people over three days. It was one of Love of Lesbian's last shows before their temporary break: the band played on the Friday, on a night rounded off by Miss Caffeina and Zahara Rave.
On the Thursday, Ginebras, Carlos Ares, Ultraligera, Kitai, Lisasinson and Fontán performed at the venue. On the Saturday, a storm forced the cancellation of Nuevos Vicios' concert, but the day continued with La M.O.D.A., Siloé, Niña Polaca and Karavana. The festival also brought free concerts to the centre of Gandía with its Al Carrer programme in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
