In short
- Each night has its own line-up, and Saturday adds Angerfist: Friday centres on 6EJOU live alongside SNTS, while Saturday brings the Dutchman together with Dexphase, KARAH and Vendex.
- Both sessions run from 18:00 to 06:00, but Blackworks has not yet published set times for each artist: the line-up is listed alphabetically.
- The general weekend pass costs €70 and very few are left, as with the Saturday ticket; the Friday ticket, at €40, is the one without a last-tickets warning.
- It is strictly over-18s only and tickets are registered to a named holder: the name can be changed, but tickets cannot be refunded or moved to another day.
Twelve days out, Blackworks has finalised the line-up for The Purgatory, its big hard techno event on Friday 30 and Saturday 31 October at La Nueva Cubierta de Leganés. It comprises two twelve-hour nights with different programmes, and sales are picking up: the weekend pass and the Saturday ticket are showing a ‘very few left’ warning on the official ticketing site.
The Madrid promoter marked the occasion on 16 October on Instagram with a countdown (‘2 weeks to hell’) and a giveaway of ten double weekend passes, with the winners to be announced on Friday 23 at 16:00.
The Purgatory line-up by day: 6EJOU and SNTS on Friday, Angerfist on Saturday
The line-up now shown on the ticketing page spreads 26 names across 21 sets, five of them in back to back format, with two artists sharing the booth. No artist plays both nights, so the weekend pass gives access to two different programmes.
- Friday 30: 6EJOU (live) b2b SNTS, A.N.I., Aiden b2b Ornella, Callush, Jovynn, Klofama, Part Time Killer, SANTØS, Sephax and SLVL b2b USH.
- Saturday 31: Angerfist, Ben Techy b2b Luciid, Dexphase, Felicie, KARAH, Negitiv, Raxeller, Remco Beekwilder b2b Tarkno, Rodri.P3CK, Toxic Machinery and Vendex.
The name that changes the character of Saturday is Angerfist. The Dutch producer, known for performing in a mask, is one of the most recognisable figures in hardcore, a faster genre than the hard techno that dominates the rest of the line-up. He did not feature in the previous version of the poster, the one still illustrating the event page on the Blackworks website, but he does appear in the one now used for ticket sales. Alongside him is Dexphase, the Madrid DJ who founded Blackworks in 2019, as well as Irish artist Luciid and Catalan artist Vendex.
Friday has more of a club feel. Its best-known name is French artist 6EJOU, who presents a joint live set with SNTS, a producer who has made anonymity part of his identity and who works in the darkest, most industrial end of techno. The rest of the night relies on regulars at the brand's events, such as A.N.I., SANTØS and Callush.
According to Vicious Magazine, the music will range between 155 and 160 BPM, each night will have its own theme (‘The darkest night of the year’ on Friday and ‘Requiem’ on Saturday) and around 20,000 people are expected across the weekend.

Opening hours: 18:00 to 06:00 each night, no set times per artist
Both sessions start at 18:00 and finish at 06:00 the following morning. That is why the ticketing site lists the event as running ‘from Friday 30 October to Sunday 1 November’: Saturday night ends on Sunday.
As of 18 October, Blackworks has not published the time of each set. The line-up is ordered from A to Z, so it is impossible to tell whether Angerfist or Dexphase will play early on or towards the end. Anyone going for a particular artist will have to wait for the organisers to publish the set times for each session. What is known is that the event ends at six in the morning, so it is worth planning your journey back from Leganés in advance.
Ticket prices: €70 weekend pass and €40 for a single day
Official sales are on the event page on the Blackworks website, which uses Fourvenues. These are the prices shown on the morning of 18 October; it is worth checking the final amount before paying.
- General weekend pass (Friday and Saturday): €70, with a warning that very few are left. Entry through gates 1, 3 and 7.
- Friday general ticket: €40.
- Saturday general ticket: €40, also with a last-tickets warning.
- Stage ticket: €100 per day or €180 for the weekend pass. It gives access to the backstage area through gate 5; the Friday ticket is listed as ‘about to sell out’.
- Ticket with 12-hour open bar: €120 on Friday, €130 on Saturday or €240 for the weekend pass, with a raised area in the stand next to the dance floor and entry through gate 5.
- Drinks voucher: €29 for three drinks and a reusable cup. It does not include entry to the festival.
The difference in demand between the two days fits the line-up: Saturday brings together Angerfist, the brand's founder and Halloween night itself. If you can only go one day and are undecided, Friday is currently the only general admission option without a last-tickets warning.
Entry rules: over-18s, named tickets and no refunds
The Purgatory is an over-18s only event. The FAQs on the official page set out the ticket conditions clearly:
- They are registered to a named holder: you cannot get in with someone else's ticket. If you cannot go, you can transfer it by changing the name on the Fourvenues website.
- They are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for another day or event. Nor can you transfer just one of the two days of a weekend pass.
- If you cannot find your ticket, you can download it again from the Fourvenues ticket recovery section.
- There is no dress code: the organisers say you can go however you like, in costume or not.
- There are lockers for your belongings, which must be booked in advance from the event page itself.
Gates also depend on the ticket type: general admission enters through gates 1, 3 and 7, and stage and open bar tickets through gate 5.
Another option for the night of the 31st if you cannot get a ticket
If Saturday sells out, a hard-sound alternative that same night is Hallowfest, the Halloween night at Fabrik in Humanes de Madrid, the same club that hosted Nexus Festival in June. It is a different event with a different format: for the first time it brings together the venue's five brands, from 17:00 to 06:00, with a hardstyle room featuring Brennan Heart, Sickmode and D-Block & S-te-fan and an area dedicated to schranz. Tickets are on sale at Hallowfest 2026 on Fever. ModoFestival may receive a commission if you buy through this link, at no extra cost to you.
Blackworks, for its part, is not going far after Halloween: on 21 November it celebrates its seventh anniversary at La Riviera with Skryption all night long, on 28 November it heads to the BEC in Barakaldo with Blackworks Festival Bilbao, and on 1 January it returns to La Nueva Cubierta to kick off 2027. Its big weekend, Blackworks Weekend Festival, already has dates: 2 and 3 April. The rest of this month's events are in the October festival guide.
