In short

  1. Iruña Rock 2027 now has ten bands for La Ciudadela: Jarfaiter, Sons of Aguirre & Scila, Josetxu Piperrak & The Riber Rock Band, Nafarroa 1512 and Maruja Limón join the five names the festival announced in September.
  2. The line-up brings together punk with 30-year careers and more rap: Segismundo Toxicómano and Kaos Etíliko were formed in 1997, and two of the new names, Jarfaiter and Sons of Aguirre & Scila, come from rap and rap-metal.
  3. The general festival pass now costs €50, ten more than at launch: the four previous price tiers are shown as sold out and, with booking fees, the pass comes to €53.50.
  4. Anyone buying now does so without the full line-up or day tickets: more bands are still to be announced and there is no day-by-day schedule, but in 2026 festival passes sold out before the festival.

La Ciudadela in Pamplona now has ten bands for its next Iruña Rock. On Tuesday the festival announced five additions for the edition on 28 and 29 May 2027, among them the rapper Jarfaiter and Josetxu Piperrak, and it did so with the general festival pass already at €50: the €40 to €47 tiers are listed as sold out.

The ten confirmed bands for Iruña Rock 2027

The first announcement came at the end of September with Segismundo Toxicómano, Kaos Etíliko, Against You, Hell Beer Boys and The Capaces. The second batch, released by the organisers on 20 October and reported by Diario de Noticias de Navarra and Metalcry, adds Jarfaiter, Sons of Aguirre & Scila, Josetxu Piperrak & The Riber Rock Band, Nafarroa 1512 and Maruja Limón. The official website already shows all ten names, with no day-by-day breakdown or set times, and the organisers warn that ‘there are still new bands to be announced’.

The venue stays the same. It will be the festival's third year in a row at La Ciudadela, the walled site in the centre of Pamplona where Soziedad Alkoholika, Narco and Kaotiko played last May, as shown in the day-by-day line-up for Iruña Rock 2026. The organisers describe it as a space where ‘rock, diversity and freedom will raise their own anti-fascist wall’, the same anti-fascist, anti-racist and feminist identity they were already championing in 2026.

Thirty years of Basque and Navarrese punk, and more room for rap

The two best-known names from the first announcement date back to the nineties. Segismundo Toxicómano, formed in Vitoria in 1997, and Kaos Etíliko, formed the same year in Agurain, will arrive at La Ciudadela with three decades of history behind them. Kaos Etíliko returned in 2022 around Zigor, its founder and singer, to celebrate its 25th anniversary. Segismundo Toxicómano also has an earlier date: on Saturday 31 October it plays PintorRock, in Reus, one of the options in the Halloween festivals guide.

The second batch continues that line with Josetxu, the voice of Piperrak, the punk band from La Ribera formed in 1990 and since disbanded. Since 2015 he has performed with local musicians under the name The Riber Rock Band. Nafarroa 1512, from Arbizu, play streetpunk and Oi! in Basque, and return after playing the 2026 edition, as do local band Against You. It is the home-grown quota the festival keeps from one edition to the next.

The new element is rap. Jarfaiter, the rapper from Piedralaves associated with so-called rap kinky, will arrive with his Arcade Tour 2027, and Sons of Aguirre & Scila will bring the songs from Un día en la URSS, the album they will release in December and from which they have already previewed Que vienen los rojos. It is not an abrupt change: in 2026 Narco and The Anger Price were already mixing rap and guitars at this same festival. What changes is the weight, because two of the five additions come from rap. Maruja Limón, whom the organisers present as a fusion act, is the name furthest from the rest.

Iruña Rock 2027 festival passes: current tier prices

Sales are handled through the official Iruña Rock 2027 page on Enterticket, which the festival website links to. These were the prices on 21 October:

  • General festival pass, €50, plus €3.50 in booking fees: €53.50 in total for both days.
  • Pass for children aged 3 to 13, €12, which comes to €15.50 with fees.
  • Pass for people with reduced mobility and a companion, at the same price of €50 per pass.

The ticketing platform still displays the previous tiers, all marked as sold out: the launch offer at €40, the €42 tier and those at €45 and €47. The pass has therefore risen by 25% since the launch offer. No day tickets are on sale; in 2026 they cost €35. According to the purchase page, attendees under 17 can get in by handing over parental consent.

What is still unknown before buying

Seven months before the festival, the pass buys two days at La Ciudadela with ten known bands and an unspecified number still to be announced. It is also unknown who plays on which day or whether the morning opening introduced on the Saturday of 2026, with concerts from 11:55, will return.

The precedent matters. In 2026 festival passes sold out before the festival and day tickets were ‘very close’ to doing so, according to the organisers on the eve of the event. With four tiers already sold out, those who know they will go have reason not to wait for the full line-up; those who decide based on names do not yet have all the information.

For anyone wanting to stay in Pamplona, La Ciudadela will host another event a week later: EN VIVO 2027, with Los Delinqüentes, on 4 and 5 June. And in the same scene, Viña Rock 2027 takes place a month earlier, from 29 April to 1 May. Line-up news will be added to the Iruña Rock page, and the rest of the events in Navarre can be found in the guide to festivals in Navarre.
