In short

  1. Viva Suecia and Iván Ferreiro are the big names at Vive Linares 2027, alongside Repion, Sexy Zebras, Tu Otra Bonita, Embusteros and Neverland Bari, on 7 and 8 May at the Recinto Ferial.
  2. The general pass costs €65 plus fees and the VIP pass €120: the €40 blind pass has already sold out and the festival says it is now at a near-final price.
  3. One name is still missing, which the organisers are keeping under wraps until November, and there is no day-by-day breakdown or stage times yet.
  4. Tickets are in the holder's name and payment inside will be cashless: under-18s can get in with parental permission and children aged up to 8 go free.

Viva Suecia has been on the Vive Linares Fest 2027 line-up since 6 October, but this week the festival gave the band its own announcement and a pass giveaway. It is the perfect excuse to round up what we already know about the third edition, on 7 and 8 May 2027 at the Recinto Ferial de Linares (Jaén): nine names announced, one more held in reserve and a general pass that has already moved past its launch price.

The Vive Linares 2027 line-up so far: from Viva Suecia to Neverland Bari

The festival has been adding artists in batches. The first were Repion, Tu Otra Bonita and Samaniego; in August came Iván Ferreiro, Embusteros and DJ Kike Rivero, and on 6 October, at a presentation at the Fundación Casa Museo Andrés Segovia, Viva Suecia, Sexy Zebras and Neverland Bari were announced.

  • Viva Suecia: the band from Murcia is the biggest draw on the list and the face of the festival's campaign over these weeks.
  • Iván Ferreiro: he arrives with Hoy x Ayer, the tour in which he looks back over 35 years of songs, from Los Piratas to his solo career.
  • Repion: the rock project of Cantabrian sisters Marina and Teresa Iñesta.
  • Sexy Zebras: the Madrid trio bring the noisiest part of the line-up.
  • Tu Otra Bonita: the band that blends pop, rumba and flamenco.
  • Embusteros: the Córdoba rock-meets-electronica band, who are presenting their fifth album.
  • Neverland Bari, Samaniego and DJ Kike Rivero complete the list for now.

Anyone following the 2027 calendar will recognise several names. Viva Suecia had already been announced for Antorchas in Albacete, Interestelar and Caudal Fest, while Iván Ferreiro shares the bill with them at Antorchas and appears on the first Warm Up line-up. The Linares line-up is not exclusive, but it does bring that circuit to the province of Jaén at the start of the season, before the big summer dates arrive.

Vive Linares 2027 passes: prices and what has already sold out

Tickets are on sale on Enterticket, the ticketing platform linked from the official website. This Sunday, the sales page listed the options as follows:

  • General pass, second tier: €65 plus booking fees, for both days.
  • VIP pass, second tier: €120 plus fees, with access to an area with its own bar and toilets on both days.
  • Children's pass: free for girls and boys aged 8 or under.
  • Sold out: the €40 blind pass, which went on sale before the line-up was revealed, and the second-tier pass for people with reduced mobility.

The second tier came into effect with the presentation on 6 October, as the festival had warned, and the organisers say it is already at a near-final price. They have not said when the tier will change or how much the next one will cost. For now, single-day tickets are not on sale: with the day-by-day breakdown still to be announced, the pass is the only option.

On Instagram, the festival is giving away two pairs of general passes to people who enter by Tuesday 20 October at 10:00; the winners will be announced the same day.

Still to come: one last name, the days and the stage times

At the presentation, the organisers made it clear that the line-up is not complete. In their announcement on 6 October they spoke of "one last name" that they will keep under wraps until November. Their FAQs add that the breakdown by day will be revealed once the line-up is complete and that stage times will follow as May approaches.

For anyone who only wants to see one particular band, this matters: right now there is no way of knowing whether Viva Suecia and Iván Ferreiro will play on the same day. With a two-day pass it matters less, but it is worth bearing in mind before booking just one night in a hotel.

Before you go: named tickets, cashless payment and how to get to the Recinto Ferial

All tickets are in the holder's name and are exchanged for a personal wristband at the festival box office. You can request a name change within the deadlines set by the organisers, but tickets are non-refundable. Inside the site, all payments will be made with the wristband, using a cashless system.

Under-18s can get in by presenting the parental authorisation form published by the organisers. You can bring in a soft plastic water bottle of up to 500 millilitres, without its cap, and food for your own consumption by handing in a signed declaration. Backpacks must not exceed 35 x 20 x 12 centimetres.

The Recinto Ferial is at calle Eriazos de la Virgen, 51. By car, it can be reached via the A-4; by train, the nearest station is Linares-Baeza, and there are regular buses from Jaén and Madrid. For accommodation, as well as hotels in Linares, the organisers suggest Baeza, Úbeda or Andújar, a short distance away. The region's other events are on the map of festivals in Andalusia, and information on this edition will be updated on the Vive Linares Fest page.
