Ana Torroja

Singer from Madrid, born in 1959 and known as the voice of Mecano, the pop trio she formed with brothers José María and Nacho Cano, which was active between 1981 and 1992. In 1997 she launched her solo career with Puntos cardinales, an album of mid-tempo songs and orchestral arrangements close to the Latin romantic ballad. Her solo work includes songs such as ‘A contratiempo’ and ‘Ya no te quiero’, and duets such as ‘Corazones’, with Miguel Bosé, and ‘Duele el amor’, with Aleks Syntek.
