Def Con Dos
Band formed in Vigo in 1988 by Julián Hernández, of Siniestro Total, with César Strawberry and Peón Kurtz, and based in Madrid shortly afterwards. They were among the first to rap in Spanish and later moved towards rap metal, with political lyrics full of irony and double meanings. Their songs for Acción mutante, by Álex de la Iglesia, opened the Armas pal pueblo period, by which time bassist J Al Andalus was in the line-up. After a hiatus between 1999 and 2004, they returned that year with Recargando, released by Warner.
Def Con Dos appears in the line-ups of 3 festivals in ModoFestival's calendar.
