Depresión Sonora

Marcos Crespo, aka Depresión Sonora, is a singer and producer from Madrid, born in 1997. He launched the project in 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, with a self-titled EP recorded in his bedroom. His sound is rooted in post-punk, with prominent basslines, effects-laden guitars and drum machines, and draws on electronic music and lo-fi, with lyrics about isolation, insecurity and urban life. In 2022 he released his debut album, El arte de morir muy despacio, and in 2025 the EP DepresionTrickz, with BB Trickz.

Depresión Sonora appears in the line-ups of 6 festivals in ModoFestival's calendar. Next date: Fira Trovam (Castelló de la Plana), 12–14 Nov 2026.
