León Benavente

A rock band formed in 2012 by four seasoned musicians: Abraham Boba (vocals and keyboards), Eduardo Baos, Luis Rodríguez and César Verdú. Boba, Baos and Rodríguez played in Nacho Vegas's band, and the name refers to the stretch of road between León and Benavente that they often travelled. In 2013 they released their self-titled debut and won RNE's Premio El Ojo Crítico for modern music. Their rock blends eighties touches with biting lyrics about Spanish reality. In 2024 they released their fifth album, ‘Nueva sinfonía sobre el caos’, on their own label.

León Benavente appears in the line-ups of 11 festivals in ModoFestival's calendar. Next date: SanSan Festival (Benicassim), 25–27 Mar 2027.
