Love of Lesbian

Indie pop band formed in autumn 1997 in Sant Vicenç dels Horts (Barcelona), with Santi Balmes as lead singer. Their first three albums were in English; with «Maniobras de escapismo» (2005) they switched to Spanish. «1999 (o cómo generar incendios de nieve con una lupa enfocando a la Luna)», from 2009, broadened their audience, and «La noche eterna. Los días no vividos» reached number one in the Spanish sales chart in 2012. In March 2021 they headlined the first large-scale test concert held in Spain during the covid-19 pandemic.

Love of Lesbian appears in the line-ups of 10 festivals in ModoFestival's calendar. Next date: SanSan Festival (Benicassim), 25–27 Mar 2027.
