M-Clan
Rock band formed in Murcia in 1993 around Carlos Tarque (vocals) and Ricardo Ruipérez (guitar), who had previously played together as Murciélagos Clan. Their first two albums, ‘Un buen momento’ (1995), recorded in Memphis, and ‘Coliseum’ (1997), draw on Southern rock. With Alejo Stivel as producer, ‘Usar y tirar’ (1999), which included ‘Llamando a la Tierra’, a cover of Steve Miller Band’s ‘Serenade’, sold more than 200,000 copies. The acoustic album ‘Sin enchufe’ (2001) added ‘Carolina’, their best-known song.
M-Clan appears in the line-ups of 5 festivals in ModoFestival's calendar.
