About the festival

Vive Latino Zaragoza 2027 will be the festival's sixth Spanish edition, but it does not have dates yet. The organisers have been working on it since before the record-breaking September 2026 edition wrapped up and say they have artists well advanced; what they have not yet announced are the dates, the venue, the line-up and the ticket sale.

Vive Latino 2027 dates: yet to be announced

As of 14 October 2026, neither the official Vive Latino España website nor the organisers have published dates for 2027. The website still shows information about the edition held on 4 and 5 September 2026, which should not be taken as a guide for next year.

Since 2022, every Spanish edition has taken place at Espacio Expo in Zaragoza, beside the Ebro, and the 2026 edition ran over a Friday and Saturday in early September. This is the festival's established pattern, not an announcement: neither the venue nor the month for 2027 has been confirmed yet.

A word of warning for anyone searching for information: the original Vive Latino, in Mexico, has announced its 2027 edition for 13 and 14 March. Those dates do not apply to Zaragoza.

What the organisers have revealed about the line-up

The festival's director in Spain, Nacho Royo, explained on 2 September 2026, on the eve of the fifth edition, that they already had artists "practically signed" for 2027. According to Aragón Digital and elDiario.es, Royo added that the next line-up will be better in terms of the artists' popularity, although he did not reveal any names.

This is the promoter's expectation, not a line-up. Until the names are published, it is impossible to judge whether 2027 will keep the balance that has defined the festival, which the organisers themselves call an "inverted line-up": big-draw Spanish artists alongside Latin American bands. Since 2022, Zaragoza has hosted names such as Andrés Calamaro, Amaral, Molotov, Kase.O, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Vetusta Morla and Los Ángeles Azules.

We covered the background to that announcement in our news story on Vive Latino 2026's record and the preparations for 2027.

Tickets and passes: not yet on sale for 2027

No passes or day tickets are on sale for the 2027 edition and no prices have been published. Tickets for 2026 are not valid for the next edition.

The most recent precedent helps anticipate the key moment. Passes for 2026 went on sale on 18 December 2025, the same day the line-up was presented at the Teatro Principal in Zaragoza, at a promotional price of €109 plus fees and with only two-day passes available in that first phase; day tickets followed later. We reported this in our news story on the release of the first 2026 passes. Whether 2027 will follow the same timetable is yet to be confirmed.

In 2026, the festival stated in its FAQs that the only official online sales channels were vivelatino.es and Ticketmaster, plus occasional sponsor sales, and that tickets were not issued in the holder's name and were non-refundable. These were the conditions for that edition; those for 2027 will be known when sales open.

How Vive Latino Zaragoza 2026 went

The fifth edition took place on 4 and 5 September 2026 at Espacio Expo and closed with 45,000 cumulative attendances, 22,500 per day, according to the figures published by Go Aragón. The total adds together admissions on both days: anyone who attended on Friday and Saturday is counted twice. It was also the first time the festival sold out its 15,000 passes, before day tickets sold out.

The same report provisionally put the economic impact at around €8 million, with hotel occupancy above 80%, and estimated cumulative attendances since 2022 at around 200,000. These are estimates released after the festival, not independent audits.

The line-up was split across two days with different profiles. Friday 4 brought together the most widely streamed names, with Amaia, Rigoberta Bandini, Julieta Venegas, Loquillo, M-Clan and Rawayana. Saturday 5 leaned more towards bands and genre-blending, with La M.O.D.A., Guitarricadelafuente, Ultraligera, Ojete Calor and La Plazuela. The full line-up is still available in our guide to the Vive Latino 2026 line-up by day, and the stage times in the timetable guide for that edition.

Doors opened at 16:45, concerts started at around 17:00 and finished at around 03:00. The programme included Mexican wrestling (lucha libre) bouts on each day and a food area with Ibero-American and Aragonese cuisine. Children under 8 got in free and under-16s had to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian; in addition, a single exit with re-entry was allowed, provided you left between 17:00 and 21:00.

Why Espacio Expo matters so much to the experience

The organisers present the venue's comfort, with green areas, easy access and well-kept toilets, as one of the things their audience values most. For those travelling from elsewhere, this urban location makes it possible to combine the festival with accommodation in Zaragoza without depending on an isolated site. If 2027 uses the same venue, this will remain one of its strengths; if it changes, access and transport will need to be reviewed again.
