Festivals in Aragon

Huesca and Zaragoza share Aragon's festivals almost equally, but with two different patterns. In the province of Zaragoza the capital dominates, home to FIZ, Vive Latino and Espacio Zity; in Huesca, the line-up of events is spread across towns such as Barbastro, Fraga, Ayerbe and Sallent de Gállego.

The calendar is busiest in July and September. July brings together Polifonik Sound, in Barbastro, and Monegros Desert Festival, which focuses on techno; September adds the events in Zaragoza city and Own Spirit Festival, at the Embalse de Santa Ana. Indie and pop are the most common styles, with electronic music and rock close behind.
