About the festival

FIZ 2027 does not yet have a date, line-up or tickets. The Festival de Música Independiente de Zaragoza held its twenty-fourth edition on 26 September 2026 at the Sala Multiusos del Auditorio, with all 4,000 tickets sold out, and has not yet announced the next one.

What we know about FIZ 2027

The official website is still dedicated to the 2026 edition, and there is no date, venue or artists for 2027. The 2026 sales link on Ibercaja is no longer active, so there are no tickets to buy.

The last two years give an idea of when the festival might make its move. In December 2024 the festival had already set the 2025 date and, on the 19th, put 200 promotional tickets on sale at €25. For 2026, that first promotional allocation had already sold out by mid-January, when the festival released a second batch. Anyone wanting the lowest price needs to watch out for that first announcement, which in the last two editions came before any artist had been revealed.

FIZ usually takes place the weekend before the Fiestas del Pilar: 27 September in 2025 and 26 September in 2026. This is a habit, not an announcement for 2027.

A night of Spanish indie at the Sala Multiusos

FIZ is a single-day indoor festival in the heart of the city, with more than two decades of history. It is held at the Sala Multiusos del Auditorio de Zaragoza, next to the plaza Emperador Carlos V, in collaboration with the City Council. There is no campsite or out-of-town site: for visitors from elsewhere, a night in the city is all that is needed.

The line-up combines established Spanish independent pop and rock bands with emerging acts and a club section. In 2025 the performers included Dorian, Amaia, Ladilla Rusa and Niña Polaca, among others. In 2026, Carolina Durante and La Casa Azul headlined a night that also featured Repion and La Paloma, while the FIZ Club space hosted the DJ sets. The 2026 line-up was completed by Zaragoza band Marina Domínguez, who opened the main stage.

Reference prices and entry conditions in 2026

FIZ has kept its prices modest. In 2026, once the promotional allocation had sold out, general admission cost €30, and in 2025 the second batch was around €35. Tickets were sold on the Ibercaja website, at its cash machines and through the festival website; the box office on the day only opened if there was capacity left.

The 2026 rules are a useful guide, although they may change:

  • Age: there was no minimum age, but everyone needed a ticket. Under-16s were admitted with authorisation and accompanied by a parent or guardian, who also needed a ticket.
  • Wristband: at the entrance, tickets were exchanged for a non-transferable wristband that allowed you to leave and come back in.
  • Payment and food: payment was by card or cash, with no cash machines inside. Food and drink could not be brought in, and there were stalls with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.
  • Accessibility and parking: a lane and platform for people with reduced mobility. The festival had no parking of its own, although there is a public car park in the plaza Emperador Carlos V.

How FIZ 2026 went

The twenty-fourth edition took place on Saturday 26 September 2026 and sold out its 4,000 tickets; in 2025 it had also passed 4,000 attendees. Doors opened at 18:30, Marina Domínguez opened the main stage and La Casa Azul played just after midnight. Chelis closed the night with his set celebrating 30 years in the business, accompanied by VJ Héctor de la Puente, while FIZ Club featured Dupla, Sweet Drinkz and Ms Von Disko.

The full line-up, with Carolina Durante, La Casa Azul, Repion, La Paloma, Marina Domínguez and Dupla, and the entry conditions for that night are still available in our FIZ 2026 guide. The first preview of that edition, headed by Carolina Durante, is covered in the FIZ 2026 announcement. For the previous edition, see the news story on Dorian and the FIZ 2025 line-up.
