Parquesvr

A band from the southern part of the Madrid metropolitan area whose name is a rewrite of that of the Parquesur shopping centre in Leganés. They are led by Javi Ferrara, singer and writer of sarcastic, politically charged lyrics. After a heavily guitar-driven debut, «Talego Quini» (2019), they broadened their range towards synth pop, cumbia and post-punk on «Si no fuera por estos momentos, sería por otros» (2022) and «Si molesto, os vais» (2024). In April 2026 they released «Mitos y leyendas», a more cohesive album about heartbreak and gentrification.

Parquesvr appears in the line-ups of 4 festivals in ModoFestival's calendar. Next date: Festival Mutante (Palma), 24 Oct 2026.
