About the festival

Cranc Illa de Menorca Festival 2026 will celebrate its tenth anniversary from 17 to 19 September. The main venue is once again Es Claustre, in Maó, although the organisers are planning activities at other locations across Menorca that have yet to be fully confirmed.

The festival remains committed to a small-scale experience, with international artists, bands from the independent scene, new projects and local acts. The programme combines paid concerts with parallel activities and uses the island as an essential part of its identity.

The launch party with Kakkmaddafakka takes place on 29 August at 21:00 at Es Claustre. It is a separate event from the September festival, and its entry conditions should be checked separately.

Cranc Menorca 2026 line-up

This edition brings together The Blaze DJ set, shame, Triángulo de Amor Bizarro, Kakkmaddafakka, Ortiga, Soleá Morente, Sistema de Entretenimiento, El Diablo de Shanghái, TRISTÁN!, Go Cactus, BAF, Niños Raros, Análisis, EL ZID, Eva Pons Trio, U.R.BAD, Pluma and Freenipples.

The programme is completed by Uncle Frankie, Alcapone Selector, Tropikana, Terremoto Mambo, Carmen Barahona and Tali Carreto. The Blaze in DJ format, shame and Kakkmaddafakka make up the international contingent; Triángulo de Amor Bizarro, Soleá Morente and Ortiga link different corners of independent pop from the Iberian Peninsula. The presence of projects from Menorca and the Balearic Islands preserves the element of discovery that characterises Cranc.

Dates, venues and format

The organisers have announced activities from 17 to 19 September and named Es Claustre as the main venue. They also state that there will be other locations, still to be confirmed. For this reason, it should not be assumed that the entire programme will take place at a single venue, nor should old directions be used without checking the 2026 programme.

Es Claustre is located in the Claustre del Carme, calle del Claustre del Carme, 50, Maó. Once the full guide is published, you will need to check which performances take place at each venue, which are free and which require a ticket.

Tickets and passes

The official Cranc Festival ticket sales offer three-day passes, day tickets and reduced prices for under-26s and over-65s. Tickets are not tied to a name and can be shown on your mobile phone.

There is also an option of a pass for the concerts on 18 and 19 September at Es Claustre. This should not be confused with the official three-day pass, as this product expressly covers the two main paid days. ModoFestival may receive a commission if you buy through this link, at no extra cost to you.

Accessibility and practical information

People with a disability certificate can access a 2-for-1 offer for themselves and a companion, which must be requested by following the instructions on the ticket sales page. The festival also works with Apropa Cultura. Bags may be checked at the entrance, and tobacco is not sold inside the venue.

The food offering includes locally sourced produce, vegetarian options and gluten-free alternatives. As the festival takes place at several points across the island, it is particularly important to check distances and transport between activities before planning your day.

For those travelling from outside Menorca, accommodation and travel should be booked with the whole programme in mind. Not all activities will necessarily be close to Es Claustre, and the frequency of night-time transport may affect your return journey. The official 2026 guide will be the reference for finalising these details.

Ten years of Cranc in Menorca

Since 2017, Cranc has built a programme that avoids the large-scale mega-festival format and favours closeness to the artists. The tenth anniversary reinforces this approach with an extensive line-up, while maintaining its scale and its connection with Menorca as a Biosphere Reserve.

Information checked on 29 August 2026 on Cranc Festival and on the current ticketing pages.

Cranc Menorca 2026 stage times

The festival has now published the official schedules for its three days. Thursday 17 serves as the opening day in Ciutadella; Friday 18 hosts the first big night at Es Claustre, and Saturday 19 spreads activities between the main stage, Es Claustre and other events in the programme.

Among the most sought-after sets are The Blaze in DJ set format, shame, Soleá Morente, Triángulo de Amor Bizarro, Kakkmaddafakka and Ortiga. Stage changes leave some very tight gaps, so it is worth checking the full schedule before planning your route.
