About the festival
Pirata Madrid Festival held its fourth edition on 2 and 3 October 2026 in Rivas-Vaciamadrid and has not yet announced anything for 2027: no dates, no line-up, no ticket sales. On its website, the only Madrid section still active is the one for refunding the balance on cashless wristbands, with a deadline that ended on 14 October.
Pirata Madrid 2027: no dates or line-up yet
As of 14 October 2026, there is no official date for the fifth edition. The Madrid tickets page is no longer available and there is no artist preview or presale.
The festival's history does, however, give an idea of what to expect from the calendar. All four editions have taken place in early October at the same venue: 6 and 7 October in 2023, 4 and 5 in 2024, 2 to 4 in 2025 and 2 and 3 in 2026. That consistency is not the same as an announcement, and the festival has changed the number of days from one edition to the next, so it is also unclear whether 2027 will run for two or three days.
Punk, Spanish rock and fusion at the Auditorio Miguel Ríos
Pirata Madrid is the autumn event from the brand that organises the Pirata Beach Festival in Gandía in July, which bills itself as a festival of rock, rap, mestizaje and fusion. In Madrid the focus has been on home-grown Spanish rock and punk: veteran bands with decades on the road alongside newer acts from the same circuit. Its line-ups have included Ska-P, El Drogas, Koma, Soziedad Alkohólika, Fermín Muguruza, Def Con Dos, Lendakaris Muertos and Evaristo, and it has also opened the door to names from other styles, such as Pendulum and Toteking in 2025.
The usual venue is the Auditorio Miguel Ríos in Rivas-Vaciamadrid, south-east of the capital. The days are long: in 2026 the gates opened at 16:00 on Friday and at 15:00 on Saturday, and the last concerts started after 01:00. That is why the festival has offered its own shuttle buses, and anyone who does not live nearby needs to think about getting home in the early hours before buying.
Tickets for the 2026 edition were registered in the holder's name, with name changes available through the website and the option to pay with the Bono Cultural. Under-18s had to bring the authorisation form published by the organisers, which we explain in detail in our news story on named tickets, the Bono Cultural and shuttle buses at Pirata Madrid 2026. These were the 2026 conditions: the organisers will have to set those for 2027.
How Pirata Madrid 2026 went
The fourth edition took place on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 October 2026. It had one day fewer than the 2025 edition, which ran from Thursday 2 to Saturday 4 October with Pendulum, Soziedad Alkohólika and Fermín Muguruza among its names.
Friday had the strongest punk flavour: Ítaca Band (17:00), Bala (18:30), Biznaga (20:05), Envidia Kotxina (21:45), Non Servium (23:30) and Sons of Aguirre & Scila (01:20). Saturday looked more to the history of Spanish rock, with Benito Kamelas (16:00), Periferia (17:25), Reincidentes (18:50), Segismundo Toxicómano (20:30), Evaristo (22:05), Boikot (23:55) and the synth-punk of La Élite to close (01:40). The day-by-day rundown is in our news story on the full Pirata Madrid 2026 line-up.

According to the Planomato listings guide, the two-day pass for 2026 cost €45 and a day ticket €35; children under 10 got in free. In 2025, with three days, La Ganzúa reported a pass at €60.50 and a day ticket at €49.50. These are reference prices from past editions, not for 2027.
