Radio Cassette Summer Festival

Radio Cassette Summer Festival is the big summer night of Radio Cassette, a Murcia-based brand of remember parties devoted to dance and electronic music from the nineties and two-thousands. Since 2017 it has almost always been held on 14 August at Discoteca Maná in San Javier, next to the Mar Menor. The most recent edition was in 2025: there is no record of any summer event in 2026 and, as of 14 October, there is no date for 2027 either.

A fixed night on the eve of the August holiday

Radio Cassette's official calendar shows a very consistent pattern. The first edition took place on 4 August 2017 at Maná, and from 2018 the festival settled on the night of 14 August, the eve of the bank holiday on the 15th. That was the case in 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. In 2021, with no festival as such, the brand organised two special events at the same club under the name Estéreo, on 25 July and 15 August.

It is not a multi-stage or multi-day festival, but a long club session with DJs and artists from the remember circuit. The 2025 edition, billed as the eighth anniversary, opened at 22:30 and closed at 07:00, with tickets from €20, according to the official website; other listings gave a price of €22.50. We looked back at that event and the audience profile in our April 2026 preview.

The brand remains active outside the summer

Radio Cassette, on the other hand, has not stopped programming events. The brand has gradually added formats: concerts at the Plaza de Toros de Murcia in December 2021, 2022 and 2023, a club edition at Sala Mamba, Radio Cassette Town in 2023 and the XS and Spring editions. The most recent was the Spring Edition on 14 March 2026 at Lahaus, in Murcia, with tickets at €15, and its website announces a Winter Edition that has yet to be dated.

What does not appear is the San Javier night. The official calendar goes from the Spring Edition in March to the Winter Edition with no event in August 2026, and the region's concert listings did not include a summer edition either. Some ticketing pages still show old listings for the festival, but these relate to previous years.

What is known about 2027

There is no date, line-up or ticket sale for a Radio Cassette Summer Festival in 2027. If the brand brings the event back, its traditional date is the night of 14 August, although there has been no announcement to that effect. Its official website, radiocassette.es, is the channel where it publishes its events. For other events in the area, see our listings of festivals in the Region of Murcia.
