Festivals in Region of Murcia

The city of Murcia and Cartagena host a large share of the festivals in the Region of Murcia. In the capital, Warm Up opens the calendar between April and May at La Fica, with electronic music, indie and pop, while Murcia Jazz Festival and Murcia Tres Culturas cover jazz, flamenco and world music. Cartagena alternates between the rock and metal of Rock Imperium, at Parque El Batel, and the flamenco and folk of La Mar de Músicas, both in July.

At the height of summer, San Javier, Los Alcázares and Mazarrón come to the fore, with reggaeton, electronic music and pop in July and August. Indie holds out until September with B-Side Festival, in Molina de Segura.
