About the festival
Alfarera Fest 2026 takes place on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October at the Ciudad Deportiva Valverde Reina in Totana (Region of Murcia), with Chambao headlining and Kaótiko, Iseo & Dodosound, Los de Marras and La Sra. Tomasa near the top of the bill. This is the third edition. The first, in November 2024, was a single day with three concerts; this year's runs over two days, two stages and a campsite. The site is open on both days from 17:00 to 05:00 and the festival pass costs €49.95 including fees.
A festival of mestizaje, punk and reggae born in Totana
The name comes from the town's pottery tradition, and the festival's slogan plays on it: 'fresher than a clay jug'. It was launched by four friends from Totana who started out organising parties on family land, as El Independiente reported in 2025; that first day, on 23 November 2024, drew more than 2,000 people. Today it is organised by Alfarera Producciones, with the support of Totana Town Council and the Instituto de las Industrias Culturales y las Artes de la Región de Murcia.
The programme moves between the three labels the festival itself keeps repeating, mestizaje, punk and reggae, with the odd late-night drum and bass set. Alongside the concerts there are crafts, food trucks and cultural activities, and during festival week sixteen bars and restaurants in the town take part in a food trail with special dishes and prices.
Friday 23: reggae, dub and the punk of Los de Marras
Friday is the most reggae-heavy night. Alberto Gambino opens, Discordia bring the punk rock before Iseo & Dodosound take centre stage with their reggae and dub, and Los de Marras, the Madrid punk band, play at midnight. Then come the reggae and ska of Awakate and the drum and bass of Kursiva, who close at five.
Friday 23, main stage
- 19:00-20:00: Alberto Gambino
- 20:30-21:30: Discordia
- 22:00-23:30: Iseo & Dodosound
- 00:00-01:00: Los de Marras
- 01:30-03:00: Awakate
- 03:00-05:00: Kursiva
Saturday 24: Chambao, Kaótiko and La Sra. Tomasa
Saturday is more varied and is the headliner's day. Chambao come on at 20:00 with their 25th anniversary tour and their blend of flamenco and electronica; they are followed by the hardcore punk of Álava band Kaótiko and, in the small hours, the rap, funk and reggae of La Sra. Tomasa and the mestizaje of Las Hienas. The afternoon is opened by Amenaza Verde, who were not on the line-up announced in July, and the punk rock of Poncho K.
Saturday 24, main stage
- 17:30-18:00: Amenaza Verde
- 18:30-19:30: Poncho K
- 20:00-21:30: Chambao
- 22:10-23:40: Kaótiko
- 00:20-01:30: La Sra. Tomasa
- 01:30-04:00: Las Hienas
The second stage and the clock change
The Dubnium Soundsystem stage, shared with Leche de Tigre, opens at 17:00 on both days and schedules its sets during the changeovers on the main stage, so until well into the night there is no need to choose between the two. The clashes come at the end: on Friday, Sr. Wilson and Belén Natalí DJ from 03:00 to 05:00 at the same time as Kursiva, and on Saturday Las Hienas overlap with the Jungleo and Guacamayo set (01:30-03:00) and with the first hour of Loopstation (03:00-05:00).
The early hours of Saturday into Sunday also bring the change to winter time: at 03:00 on Sunday 25 the clocks go back to 02:00, so that night has an extra hour. The organisers have not specified whether the times of Saturday's last performances will be adjusted for the change.
Tickets: the festival pass works out cheaper than two day tickets
Official sales are on Compralaentrada, linked from the festival website. These were the prices on 21 October, including booking fees:
- Two-day pass: €49.95 (€45 plus €4.95 in fees), in its seventh price tier.
- Friday 23 ticket: €33.30 (€30 plus €3.30).
- Saturday 24 ticket: €38.85 (€35 plus €3.85).
The two days bought separately add up to €72.15, €22.20 more than the pass, so a day ticket only makes sense for those going for a single night. Camping tickets and the pass with camping are no longer on sale online. According to the festival's terms, tickets bought online are non-refundable.
Camping: opens on Friday at 10:00 and has no electricity
This is the first edition with a campsite. It is a five-minute walk from the main stage, only those with a camping ticket can enter, and the official website lists showers, changing rooms, toilets and controlled access. It opens on Friday at 10:00, with wristband validation; on Sunday services stop at 12:00 and the area closes at 16:00.
There is no electricity, so the organisers recommend bringing a torch and a power bank, and fires are prohibited. There will be a small shop selling basic supplies. With online sales closed, the festival has not said whether any places will be left at the box office.
Getting there and shuttle bus
The Ciudad Deportiva Valverde Reina is in the La Tira del Lienzo area, about a 25-minute walk from the centre of Totana. By car, take the A-7 motorway, Totana exit, and there is free parking a five-minute walk from the site. The official website announces a circular shuttle bus around the town during festival hours, but has not published its timetable or stops. For those coming from further afield, the nearest airports are Región de Murcia airport, in Corvera, about 40 minutes away, and Alicante-Elche, an hour away.
Minors and pets
The official website presents Alfarera Fest as a festival for all ages, but neither the website nor the ticket sales page explains the conditions for minors: from what age they need a ticket or whether they must be accompanied. Anyone going with minors should check with the organisers before buying. Dogs are allowed in, but must be kept on a lead inside the site.
The rest of the region's events are in the listings of festivals in the Region of Murcia.
