Festival Tendencias Salobreña remains one of the most distinctive cultural events of the summer in Granada province, but as things stand the 2026 edition has not yet published dates, a line-up or official ticket sales. That means this page has to be read in light of the festival's context and track record, rather than a confirmed programme.

The difference from other festivals is significant. Tendencias does not work as one big event with a single line-up, but as a cultural season spanning several days, where music sits alongside exhibitions, literature, art and wider programming across the town. That identity is precisely what gives it value and sets it apart on the Costa Tropical.

The most useful reference is the last known edition

The 2025 edition ran from 18 July to 1 August and once again spread across various spaces in Salobreña. The venues used included the Auditorio José Martín Recuerda and the Paseo de las Flores, as well as other locations linked to the town's cultural life.

That structure is the best clue to understanding the festival: not a single day of quick consumption, but a collection of events that transforms the town for part of the summer.

Salobreña as part of the project's purpose

A large part of Tendencias' value lies in its relationship with Salobreña. The festival benefits from a town where the old quarter, the beach and cultural spaces are all within short distances of each other, which is perfect for a season that is not limited to night-time concerts.

For those travelling from Granada, Málaga or the Costa Tropical itself, this combination of programming and setting makes the experience more than a one-off ticket. Tendencias usually works better as a cultural break of several days than as a flying visit.

What is still to be announced for 2026
