About the festival
Kalyma Fest is a music and urban art festival from Santa Cruz de Tenerife whose only known edition was scheduled for 1 August 2025 at the Recinto Ferial de Tenerife. It has not been held again since then, its web domain is up for sale and, as of 14 October 2026, no edition has been announced for 2026 or 2027.
The only known edition: 2025
The festival was planned as a single afternoon and evening event, starting at 17:30 at the Recinto Ferial de Tenerife. The line-up was built around three leading names in Spanish-language urban music:
- Bad Gyal, a leading figure in dancehall and reggaeton in Catalan and Spanish.
- Lucho RK, from trap and reggaeton.
- Judeline, an artist from Jerez de la Frontera who blends alternative pop, flamenco and electronic music.
The programme was completed by Mushkaa and several DJ sets. Tickets started at €66.
The event was presented with its own identity: it took its imagery from the Canarina canariensis, a flower endemic to the islands, and the promotion emphasised digital tickets and the use of public transport to reach the venue.
What is known today
No second edition has been announced. Summer 2026 passed with no dates, line-up or ticket sales, and this year's Canary Islands festival listings do not include Kalyma. The festival's web address, kalymafest.com, now appears as a domain for sale, with no information about the event.
Nor is there any official statement announcing the end of the project or a hiatus: there is simply no new edition. For other events on the islands, the festivals in the Canary Islands listings include those with an upcoming edition.
