Festivals in Canary Islands

The province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife is home to most of the festivals in the Canary Islands, spread across Puerto de la Cruz, Arona, Adeje, Los Silos and the capital. In the province of Las Palmas, events are concentrated in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and, on Lanzarote, in Arrecife.

The Canary Islands calendar doesn't end with summer. August and October are the busiest months: October brings together Sum Festival, Tenerife Peñón Fest and Starmus, while September brings Festival Phe, in Puerto de la Cruz, and Festival Boreal, in Los Silos. Pop and urban music are the most common styles, with reggaeton events such as Boombastic Canarias alongside others focused on rock, techno or jazz.
