About the festival
Lolailand was launched in 2025 as a two-afternoon rumba party at the Puerto de Sevilla, as part of the first season of Insólito, the cultural programme that spreads concerts across several venues in the city. Its October 2025 dates were postponed before they took place and, as of 14 October 2026, no dates have been announced for 2026 or 2027.
A rumba and flamenco-pop party at the Muelle de Tablada
The concept was a departure from the usual indie or urban line-ups of Andalusian festivals. Its territory was rumba, flamenco-pop and the popular songs of the 1990s and 2000s, with artists who were hugely popular at the time and an open-air afternoon format at the Muelle de Tablada, by the river.
Insólito announced it as follows in its season presentation, which we covered at ModoFestival in our article on the launch of the Insólito series in Sevilla:
- Saturday 18 October 2025: Maita Vende Cá, José el Francés and Enrique Heredia "Negri", former singer of La Barbería del Sur.
- Saturday 25 October 2025: Azúcar Moreno, Jere and Taíno of Los Chunguitos, and Sara of Las Chuches.
The 2025 dates and their postponement
At the end of September 2025, just a few weeks before the first day, Lolailand was postponed with notice that new dates would be announced later, according to Sevilla Secreta. That announcement has not come: the Insólito website lists no rescheduling.
Some festival directories list the two October afternoons as having taken place, but neither Insólito nor any subsequent review confirms this. Lolailand therefore remains a party that was announced and postponed, with no recorded edition having taken place.
What is known about Lolailand today
Insólito has carried on. Its 2026-2027 season programme, running from October 2026 to April 2027, is concentrated mainly at the Cartuja Center CITE, with names such as José González, Chambao, Yerai Cortés, SFDK and Meute, and does not include Lolailand or any other party at the Puerto de Sevilla.
There are no tickets on sale either. Anyone who bought a ticket for the 2025 dates should contact Insólito and the platform where they bought it to find out its status.
