About the festival

MyPlaylist Fest was due to make its debut in Sevilla in October 2025, but its first edition was postponed weeks before the planned date and there is no record of it having taken place since. As of 14 October 2026, no edition has been announced for 2026 or 2027.

A festival with a line-up voted for by the public

What set the project apart was the involvement of the public in the programming. Its founding partner and managing director, Jaime Lorente, presented it as a festival in which the audience would have decision-making power: part of the line-up was decided through votes and social media activities, and a touring competition, Destino MyPlaylist Fest, selected emerging bands through votes and qualifying concerts. The organisers billed it as Spain's first interactive festival.

The 2025 edition, postponed with no new date

The event was scheduled for 10, 11 and 12 October 2025 in the grounds outside the Estadio de La Cartuja in Sevilla. The line-up combined mainstream pop and rock with names from the Andalusian and urban scenes:

  • Headliners: Melendi, Café Quijano and Pignoise.
  • Other announced artists: Íñigo Quintero, Travis Birds, Los Estanques with El Canijo de Jerez, Lia Kali, Despistaos, Javi Medina, Besmaya, Juanlu Montoya, Javypablo, Sanguijuelas del Guadiana, Morochos, La Fama, La Gore, Pol 3.14, Q2, Tomasito, Juan Cid, Rafa Romero, El Balilla and La Cuarta Pared.
  • Destino MyPlaylist Fest winners: La Última Copa, Línea 12, Muychavales and Pepe Delestal.

The festival was postponed in the preceding weeks and left with its date to be confirmed. According to the information released at the time, passes already sold would remain valid for the new date once announced.

What we know now

That new date has never been officially announced. One listings site did place an edition on 9 to 11 October 2026, but without citing any announcement from the organisers, and those dates have passed with no sign of the festival at La Cartuja. The project's official website does not load.

Anyone still holding a 2025 pass currently has no date to use it for: there is no record of a new edition or of any subsequent instructions from the organisers regarding those tickets.

For other events this autumn and next year in Andalusia, the festivals in Andalusia listings include those with a confirmed edition.
