About the festival

Ou Yeah! 2026 ended on 4 October with Luz Casal and Castillo at the Pazo dos Deportes Paco Paz. The second edition brought together three events between 6 June and 4 October, spread across Ourense and O Carballiño. This page records the edition that has taken place: no dates, artists or tickets have been announced for 2027.

Dates and venues of the 2026 edition

The series began on 6 June at Expourense with Loquillo, The Rapants and Kitty, Daisy & Lewis. The second event was held on 31 July in the Praza da Veracruz in O Carballiño, with Burning. The closing show on 4 October took place at Paco Paz, Ourense, with Luz Casal and Castillo.

These are three separate dates, not a continuous festival lasting several months or a single site. The programme moved from an exhibition centre to a public square and then to a sports hall. O Carballiño is part of the province-wide route, even though it is not the city of Ourense.

Artists and closing concert

Loquillo, The Rapants, Kitty, Daisy & Lewis, Burning, Luz Casal and Castillo made up the line-up across the route. Burning celebrated five decades of rock at their July stop. The closing show featured Luz Casal's repertoire, including songs from Me voy a permitir, with an opening set by Vigo singer-songwriter Castillo, according to the organisers' press release.

The programme mixed veteran bands with more recent Galician acts. The festival did not sell a ticket guaranteeing access to all of its sessions: each date had its own entry information and conditions. Those purchases now belong to a finished edition.

Food and festival format

Cociña Ourense took part in the Zona Gastronómica Grupo Cuevas. The organisers highlight dishes made with local meats, Cea bread and smoked chestnut. The cuisine of inland Galicia accompanied the music programme as one of the project's defining features.

The series is organised by Escena Sonora and Thinking Up Events, with support from Galician and provincial institutions. Its decentralised format aims to take concerts to different spaces across the area, rather than bringing all the artists together over one weekend at a single venue.

2026 review and status of the next edition

In its statement of 5 October, the organisers report almost 5,000 attendees across the three events. This figure is attributed to the festival and is not an independent count of unique individuals. Nor can the exact capacity of each concert be inferred from it.

The 2026 edition has no concerts remaining. Buying old tickets as if they were valid for a new edition is not recommended. The Ou Yeah! website remains the reference for future announcements, but it did not confirm a 2027 edition in the closing statement. The dates on this page refer exclusively to the 2026 edition.
