About the festival
Salinas Sound is a festival of urban music, reggaeton and Latin pop held in Roquetas de Mar (Almería) next to the Antonio Peroles municipal stadium. Its most recent known edition took place in August 2025, and as of 14 October 2026 no edition has been announced for 2026 or 2027.
From the suspended 2020 event to an August weekend
Its debut was planned for 2020, but the pandemic put it on hold for two years, and the first edition was finally scheduled for 25 June 2022, the first Saturday of summer, in the area next to the Antonio Peroles football ground. That line-up was headlined by Rels B and Almería's own RVFV.
By 2025 it was no longer a single day in June but a long weekend in early August, with a line-up that went beyond urban music.
The most recent known edition: 2025
The 2025 edition took place from 1 to 3 August at the Estadio Municipal Antonio Peroles, organised by Roquetas de Mar Town Council and Kuver Producciones. Each day had a different focus:
- Friday 1 August, reggaeton and Latin pop: Cali y El Dandee, Melody, K-Narias, King África and Lorna.
- Saturday 2 August, electronic pop and nostalgia: La Casa Azul, OBK, La Guardia, Rebeca and Lorca.
- Sunday 3 August, urban music: Kapo, Darkiel, Estela Trujillo, Robert Morr and Yeieme, among others.
Saturday strayed furthest from the festival's original style, with veteran Spanish pop acts such as OBK and La Guardia alongside La Casa Azul. According to the review published by Almería Noticias, the weekend drew more than 30,000 attendees. The stage times and day-by-day line-up are still available in our guide to Salinas Sound 2025.
What is known about 2026 and 2027
After the 2025 edition, the organisers were already talking about preparing the next one, but it was never announced. No dates, line-up or ticket sales have been published, and the ticketing platform that sold the 2025 edition has no upcoming events for the festival. Some concert listings show 1, 2 and 3 August at the same stadium for 2026, but these are the previous year's dates, with no line-up or tickets, and none of them points to an official announcement. The festival's website is not operational.
For other summer events in the province and the rest of the region, our listing of festivals in Andalusia brings together those with a confirmed edition.
