About the festival
Ubri Festival is a two-night festival that took place at the Plaza de Toros de Ubrique (Cádiz) in late August 2025, with a line-up of mestizaje, rumba and pop rock headlined by Chambao and Miguel Campello. It is the only edition on record: as of 14 October 2026, no edition has been announced for either 2026 or 2027.
The only known edition: 2025
The festival ran on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 August 2025, with concerts starting at 21:30. The line-up was split across the nights as follows:
- Friday 29 August: Jarabe de Pau, a Jarabe de Palo tribute band, and Rumba Canalla.
- Saturday 30 August: Chambao and Miguel Campello, with a surprise artist announced to round off the night.
The weight of the line-up was on the Saturday. Chambao, La Mari's Málaga project that popularised flamenco chill, and Miguel Campello, former singer of El Bicho, shared a common thread of flamenco fusion and mestizaje. The Friday served as a festive warm-up, with a tribute act and a rumba band.
What is known about 2026 and 2027
No second edition has been announced. In late August 2026 the bullring did host music again, but in a different format and under a different name: on 28 August it staged Vive Ubrique 2026, free concerts by El Arrebato and Camela organised by the town council with the collaboration of the Fundación López Mariscal. It was a municipal night, with El Arrebato at 21:00, an opening speech at 23:00 and Camela at midnight, and it was not presented as Ubri Festival or as its continuation.
For other concerts and festivals in the province, the festivals in Andalusia listings cover events with a confirmed edition.
