Festivals in Asturias

Gijón, Oviedo and Arriondas are home to a large share of the festivals in Asturias, although the map also extends to Llanera, Avilés, Salinas and Cangas del Narcea. The calendar is not limited to the summer: it kicks off in March with Lanna Festival, continues in spring with L.E.V. Festival, both in Gijón, and stretches through to October.

Arriondas brings together two opposite profiles: the techno of Aquasella in August and the indie of Riverland in July, at El Valle de la Música. Urban music has its date in July with Boombastic Asturias, in Llanera, while pop and indie are shared between Oviedo, Gijón and Cangas del Narcea, where Prestoso Fest Las Barzaniellas takes place.
