Festivals in Girona

Most of Girona's festivals are on the coast: Cap Roig Festival in Calella de Palafrugell, Mediterranea in Roses, ON/OFF Music Festival in Lloret de Mar, Idilic Festival in Sant Feliu de Guíxols and ítaca in l'Estartit. August is the most common month, and inland, Occident Summerfest Cerdanya brings indie and folk to Puigcerdà in the same month.

There are other events before the summer: Festival Strenes, featuring indie and pop, between March and May, and Black Music Festival, featuring jazz and folk, between February and March. Electronic music dominates on the coast, while Cap Roig mixes rock, flamenco and pop.
