Boikot

Madrid punk band active since 1987 and known for the social message of their lyrics. After two albums on the Barrabás label, in 1995 they chose to go self-managed with their own record label, Producciones BKT. Between 1997 and 1999 they released the trilogy La ruta del Che, partly recorded on tour in Cuba, Mexico and Argentina and featuring Latin American rhythms. On Tus problemas crecen (2004) they included ‘Bajo el suelo’, a song against gender-based violence, and at the end of 2007 they travelled to Mostar (Bosnia) to record Amaneció.

Boikot appears in the line-ups of 4 festivals in ModoFestival's calendar. Next date: Alterna Festival (El Bonillo), 2–3 Jul 2027.
