Dates and venue in Cáceres
The festival will take place from Thursday 29 April to Saturday 1 May 2027. Its venue is the Recinto Hípico de Cáceres, on the Mérida-Badajoz road. It runs over three consecutive days around Labour Day.
When planning your trip, set aside all three dates for the festival. The daily artist breakdown and closing time have not yet been released, so it is not yet possible to decide which day to buy a ticket for or what time to book your journey home.
Where to check Extremúsika 2027 passes
Official sales, on the Extremúsika website, were still at the first price tier as of 14 October 2026:
- Three-day pass: €36, with the same price for adults and under-18s.
- Pass with rest area: €61, with access to the camping area from 12:00 on 29 April until 13:00 on 2 May. Vehicles are not allowed in.
All tickets include non-attendance insurance that refunds the price, excluding taxes, if you cannot attend for justified reasons such as illness. The organisers have warned on social media that pass prices will go up, without giving a specific date. Children under 7 get in free with a ticket-holding adult; 16- and 17-year-olds need a signed authorisation, and under-16s must also be accompanied by their mother, father or legal guardian.
The announcement of the first artists is in our news story on the Extremúsika 2027 preview.
The 2026 edition as background
Extremúsika held its previous edition from 30 April to 2 May 2026. Its programme featured, among others, Sanguijuelas del Guadiana, La Fuga and Def Con Dos. That history explains the mix of guitars and urban music at the festival, but those artists are not part of the 2027 preview unless they are expressly announced for the next edition.
Access and transport details for 2027 have not yet been released. If you are staying outside the rest area, bear in mind that the final day is Saturday 1 May; staying until Sunday means you avoid booking your return before the last concert is known.
