Festivals in April 2027

April is the month when several festivals spanning April and May get under way: Viña Rock in Villarrobledo, Extremúsika at the Recinto Hípico in Cáceres, Warm Up at La Fica in Murcia and L.E.V. Festival in Gijón.

Madrid is the city with the most events, with options such as LOS40 Primavera Pop and Sound Isidro. In terms of style, electronic and urban music feature prominently, second only to pop: the former comes to Sierra Nevada with Sun & Snow Festival, and the latter to the Canary Islands with Tenerife PRIM Festival.

Several April festivals kick off seasons that last for months. Iberoexperia Sessions Madrid and Iberoexperia Sessions Barcelona programme electronic music from April to September at venues such as Sala Villanos and Sala Apolo, while Marenostrum keeps up its mix of reggaeton and pop in Fuengirola over the same period.

In the province of Alicante, El Muelle Live follows the same approach between March and August, and Catalonia has been running Guitar BCN and Festival Strenes back to back since the winter, both until May. In Madrid, Bee Week Festival wraps up in April a run that begins in February.

Urban music and reggaeton are spread across very distant points on the map: Festival Rocanrola at the Multiespacio Rabasa in Alicante, Modo Perreo Fest in the province of A Coruña and Bresh Gran Canaria in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
