About the festival
Sound Isidro 2026 is back to liven up spring in Madrid with a new edition running from 9 April to 20 June. The series keeps the personality that has made it so recognisable: a huge programme, very open in terms of styles and spread across different venues in the capital, with concerts that capture the real pulse of Madrid's independent, alternative and urban music circuit.
The 2026 edition is backed by figures that clearly convey its scale: more than 120 artists and a network of around 16 venues involved in the programme. Sound Isidro does not present itself as a single-site festival, but as a living map of concerts that invites you to follow the city over several weeks. Far from diluting it, this structure is precisely what makes it strong.
Confirmed line-up
The names announced for this edition include Black Country, New Road, Buscabulla, shego, Ciutat, Atención Tsunami, Tatuaje, julia de arco, Salvana, bd., Mourn, El Diablo de Shanghái, The Dharma Chain and The Haunted Youth, among many others. The appeal of the line-up lies in its mix of artists already established on the circuit and emerging names who find a highly visible platform here.
A series for touring venues
One of Sound Isidro's great strengths is that it makes you see Madrid in a different way. The series relies on venues such as El Sol, La Riviera, Sala But, Copérnico, Sala Villanos, Café La Palma, Siroco, Shôko, Maravillas Club and Sala B, among others. This network caters for different audiences and helps give each night a very distinct personality.
How the 2026 edition fits in
Rather than a line-up to memorise in one go, Sound Isidro works as a schedule for discovery and exploration. Those looking for a self-contained weekend experience will find other options; those who want to take the pulse of the Madrid scene over two months have here one of the richest and most recognisable resources on the calendar.
