Carlos Ares

A singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer born in A Coruña in 1997, he spent years working behind the scenes writing and producing for other artists, including Paula Cendejas on the album Tsunami, and released his first singles in 2017. His debut album, Peregrino (2024), self-produced and funded through that work, won the 2025 Premio MIN for best pop album, and that same year he released La boca del lobo. His music blends pop, folk and indie, with a strong emphasis on strings and a highly distinctive approach to vocals.
