Sons of Aguirre & Scila

Sons of Aguirre & Scila is the alliance between Sons of Aguirre, a satirical rap project by David Saiz and Víctor Barroso that bills itself as ‘exploiting-class rap’, and the Alicante groove metal band Scila. Sons of Aguirre debuted in 2016 with ‘Si es legal es ético, si no fuera ético, sería ilegal’, and the partnership began in 2017 with the track ‘N.T.S.H.T.S.’. Together they released ‘Azul/Rojo’ in May 2018, preceded by ‘La cigarra y la hormiga’, and live they are a seven-piece with five vocalists. They followed it with ‘Lo que ocurrió mientras mirabas a otro lado’ (2019) and ‘Vamos a morir todos’ (2022).

Sons of Aguirre & Scila appears in the line-ups of 3 festivals in ModoFestival's calendar.
