Festivals in March 2027

March gets the season under way in Catalonia and the Valencian Community, which host a good share of the month's events. The Valencian Community hosts SanSan Festival Benicàssim, Costa Sonora, in the province of Alicante, and Mar de Jávea; in Catalonia, there is Polar Sound, at the Baqueira Beret ski resort, and Lets Festival (L'Hospitalet).

Indie, pop and rock dominate the month, but jazz carries weight of its own, with Murcia Jazz Festival and Festival Jazz, in Terrassa. Madrid, A Coruña and Gijón complete the map.

March is also a month of handover. Several winter festivals wrap up their run here: Inverfest and Festival Ultreia in Madrid, and Negufest Euskadi in Bilbao, while Festival de Jerez completes its flamenco programme, which began in February, in March.

At the same time, events that stretch into spring and summer get going. Festival Strenes runs its programme in the province of Girona from March to May, and El Muelle Live continues in the province of Alicante until August, with pop and urban music. Guitar BCN, which starts in January, remains active in the province of Barcelona until May.

Away from the Mediterranean, March brings specific events in the north: the electronic music and techno of Lanna Festival, in Gijón, and the rock of ExpoRock Festival, at EXPOCoruña.
