Festival Jazz

Festival Jazz Terrassa is one of the long-standing fixtures of live jazz in Catalonia. The festival's most recent edition took place from 6 to 27 March 2026, with the Nova Jazz Cava as one of its main venues and a programme spread across club concerts, open activities and events linked to the city.

Dates for the festival's next edition have not yet been confirmed. Until that announcement comes, Terrassa keeps its jazz scene alive with regular programming at the Nova Jazz Cava and summer events that help sustain the city's musical pulse beyond March.

How the 2026 edition went

The edition held from 6 to 27 March 2026 once again offered a wide-ranging programme across various venues in Terrassa. The festival kept its balance between major club concerts, parallel activities and open-air moments that bring jazz to diverse audiences.

Among the standout names and moments of the latest edition were Dave Holland with Lionel Loueke, the Bluestorius project with Carles Benavent and Félix Pastorius, the closing concert by Sant Andreu Jazz Band 20 anys and the Pícnic Jazz Vallparadís, one of the festival's most recognisable events.

Ongoing programme at Nova Jazz Cava

Jazz activity in Terrassa continues in July with several events at the Nova Jazz Cava. The listings include Festival Talent on 30 June at 19:45, Moder Jazzam + Jam Session on 2 July at 22:00 and El Jazz del Futur + Jam Session on 9 July at 22:00.

These events do not replace the announcement of the festival's next edition, but they do show Terrassa's continuity as a year-round jazz city. At Modofestival we have published a dedicated guide to the July programme at Nova Jazz Cava.
