Festivals in Barcelona

June and July account for the bulk of the calendar in the province of Barcelona. In June, the Parc del Fòrum hosts Primavera Sound, with electronic music, indie and pop, and in July Cruïlla, which leans more towards pop and urban music. Also in June, Sónar and Offweek give weight to electronic music, techno and experimental music.

Outside the capital, July brings the indie and pop of Vida Festival to the Masia d'en Cabanyes, in Vilanova i la Geltrú, and the rock and pop of Canet Rock to Canet de Mar. The calendar doesn't end with the summer: MIRA Digital Arts Festival takes place in November at Fira de Barcelona's Montjuïc venue, and Cruïlla de Tardor runs from October to December.
