About the festival
The Psychobilly Meeting is a whole week devoted to psychobilly, the cross between rockabilly and punk that emerged in the United Kingdom in the early eighties. It is organised by Just For Fun Productions and, after decades in Pineda de Mar, it has been held since 2024 in Santa Susanna, on the Maresme coast. The 33rd edition will run from Tuesday 6 to Tuesday 13 July 2027, with evening concerts at La Siesta and daytime activities on the beach.
How the festival works
The organisers promise more than 30 international bands spread across three stages, plus DJs. The paid concerts take place at night at La Siesta, which the festival renames Psychobilly Meeting Village. By day, the meeting point is the Psychobilly Meeting Beach Bar, by the sea, with free concerts. The week opens with a welcome party and closes with a farewell party; their venues and times will be announced with the programme.
Psychobilly Meeting 2027 line-up
The bands for 2027 have not yet been announced. To give you an idea, the 2026 edition brought together 32 acts, with King Kurt, Demented Are Go, Mad Sin, The Quakes, Frenzy, The Hillbilly Moon Explosion, Klingonz and Restless among the best known, according to RockabillyRules. Almost all are veteran names in the genre, most of them British.
