Festivals in July 2027

July is the busiest month in the festival calendar. Andalusia hosts the largest number, followed by Galicia, Catalonia and the Valencian Community, where FIB, at the Recinto de Conciertos de Benicàssim, and Arenal Sound, in Burriana, both take place between July and August.

Pop is the most common genre, while urban music and reggaeton are gaining ground, with Boombastic Asturias in Llanera and the Puro Latino circuit, with editions in Sevilla, Almería, Torremolinos and El Puerto de Santa María. The big cities keep their usual events: Mad Cool in Madrid, Bilbao BBK Live at Kobetamendi and Cruïlla at the Parc del Fòrum.

Folk and jazz have a strong presence in July. Festival de Ortigueira and PortAmérica, at the Azucarera de Portas, bring them to Galicia; Jazzaldia San Sebastián devotes the month to jazz in Donostia, and La Mar de Músicas blends flamenco and folk in Cartagena. In Jaén, Etnosur Alcalá la Real brings together flamenco, jazz and folk.

Rock and metal also have several events: Rock Imperium, at Parque El Batel in Cartagena; Alterna Festival, in El Bonillo; Rio Babel, which adds punk to the mix in Rivas Vaciamadrid; and Barcelona Rock Fest, at the Parc de Can Zam.

Electronic music and techno are spread across Fraga, with Monegros Desert Festival; Tomelloso, with Zodiak Festival; Calahorra, with Holika Festival; and Vélez-Málaga, with Dreambeach, which runs into August.
