Bigsound Torrevieja

Bigsound Torrevieja 2026 has already taken place. Here you can check the dates, line-up and practical information for that edition.

Bigsound Torrevieja 2026 did not ultimately go ahead this summer. The organisers and the City Council announced the cancellation of the edition planned for 25 and 26 July after failing to reach the levels of ticket sales and public response needed to deliver the project under the proposed conditions.

Status of the 2026 edition

• Status: edition cancelled.
• Planned dates: 25 and 26 July 2026.
• Stated reason: low ticket sales compared with initial forecasts.
• Future: the organisers still intend to explore future editions in the city.

Planned line-up

• Myke Towers
• Ana Mena
• Juan Magán
• Omar Montes
• Leire Martínez
• Ptazeta
• Marc Seguí
• Paula Koops
• María Becerra

The announced edition remains as a historical record of a project that never took place. If BIGSOUND returns to Torrevieja in future seasons, the interest will lie in seeing whether it keeps the same urban and Latin focus or rethinks its format, venue and line-up.

What the cancellation of Bigsound Torrevieja means

The 2026 edition stands as a postponed project rather than an active date on the calendar. For this reason, you should not plan travel or buy tickets around the originally announced dates. The planned line-up helps to show the scale of the project, but the priority now is to avoid any confusion with an event that will not go ahead this summer.

Recommendations

• Do not buy tickets in 2026 through unofficial channels for the 2026 edition.
• Check communications from the organisers if you bought passes before the cancellation.
• Look at other festivals in the Valencian Community if you were looking for a nearby summer alternative.

Torrevieja keeps up musical and cultural activity throughout the year, but BIGSOUND will not be part of that programme in 2026 unless the organisers announce a new project in the future.
