Festivals in Alicante

Alicante is best understood as two maps. Inland, rock rules: Villena brings together Leyendas del Rock and Rabo Lagartija, both straddling rock and metal, as well as Aúpa Lumbreiras!!, while Elda Rock, Festival Poma Rock (Agres) and Nazarock (Orihuela) keep that line going between May and August.

On the coast, pop, urban music and electronic music carry more weight. Torrevieja hosts Low Festival at Parque Antonio Soria between July and August, and Benidorm adds events as different as Benidorm Fest in February or the techno of Indiverso DJ Festival. In the provincial capital, Festival Rocanrola focuses on urban music at Multiespacio Rabasa between April and May.
