Festival Poma Rock

Poma Rock 2027 does not yet have a date, line-up or tickets. The Agres festival held its twelfth edition on Saturday 8 August 2026, headlined by Biznaga, and the organisers have not announced the next one since.

What we know about Poma Rock 2027

Nothing official for now: no day, no bands, no price. Tickets for 2026 were sold on Notikumi, and that listing now shows as a finished event, with no later date.

The calendar of recent years does offer a clue. The 2022 edition was on Sunday 14 August, the 2025 edition on Saturday 9 August and the 2026 edition on Saturday 8 August. Poma Rock has settled into the first half of August, but that is habit, not an announced date for 2027.

A village festival run by the young people of Agres

Poma Rock takes place in Agres, a small municipality in the Comtat district, at the foot of the Sierra de Mariola, in the north of the province of Alicante. According to the local press, it is organised by the village's young people together with volunteers, residents and around fifty collaborating businesses and organisations, with support from Agres Town Council and Alicante Provincial Council. It is a single-day event aimed at audiences from the surrounding area and, according to the same source, has had an activist element since it began.

The day is not just about the concerts. In 2026 there were children's workshops, a round-table discussion on the future of the central Valencian districts, street performances and bar crawls with the local brass band, all free of charge. The paid part comes at night, with six bands.

Musically, the line-up moves between punk, rock and ska, with bands from the national circuit and the Valencian scene. In 2022 Funkiwis, The Danse Crashers, Bacora and The Masiados i Nonai Sound played in Agres; in 2026, the punk of Biznaga shared the bill with the ska of Les Testarudes.

Where it takes place and how much tickets cost

The traditional venue is the plaza de l'Assut, where the Town Council placed the 2022 edition and where the Turisme Comunitat Valenciana listings also placed the 2026 edition. That year, however, the sources did not agree: the local press put the daytime activities in the plaza de España and the night-time concerts on calle Sant Antoni. It remains to be seen which space the organisers choose for 2027.

For reference, in 2026 advance tickets cost €20, rising to €25 on the door, according to information published by Planomato. Minors could enter if accompanied. These are 2026 prices; those for 2027 are not yet known.

There is no special transport: access is by road and accommodation in the village is limited, so those coming from further afield will find more options in neighbouring towns such as Muro de Alcoy, Cocentaina or Alcoy.

How Poma Rock 2026 went

The 12th edition was held on Saturday 8 August 2026 under the slogan «No vindre seria un error». The night-time line-up brought together Biznaga, Arpaviejas, Les Testarudes, Momo, Arre-A.K. and Rude Peli. Biznaga, a Madrid punk band with roots in Málaga, was the biggest name; Les Testarudes provided the danceable ska counterpoint.

During the day, the free programme included the round-table discussion «En defensa del territori», a concert by La Trocamba Matanusca and a set by Natxo DJ.
