About the festival
Son de Spain Festival 2026 will hold its first edition on 14 and 15 August at the Puerto de Alicante. The project starts with a very clear idea: to bring several generations together around very recognisable names in Spanish pop, in a fully summery setting by the sea.
The location works strongly in the event's favour. August is already very busy on the Mediterranean coast, so the port of Alicante brings that touch of an urban, seaside getaway that could make the plan appealing to both local audiences and visitors. Among the festivals in the Valencian Community, that approach gives it a very distinctive personality.

- Bustamante
- Nena Daconte
- Bebe
- Maldita Nerea
- David Civera
The combination makes the festival's tone clear: popular songs, generational memories and a line-up aimed at a broad audience. In its debut, Son de Spain seems to be betting on a clear focus rather than an overloaded line-up, and that could work in its favour.
