Alma Occident Alicante

Alma Occident Alicante was the Alicante extension of the alma summer concert series, which was already held in Barcelona and Madrid. Its only known edition, in 2025, brought around ten nights of international artists and names from Spanish-language pop and rock to the Multiespacio Rabasa. As of 14 October 2026, no edition has been announced for 2026 or 2027 in Alicante.

It did not work as a festival with a pass and several stages at once, but as a series: each night had its own headliner and its own ticket. The Alicante edition added the Village stage, reserved for emerging artists, and paired several of the stars with local bands who opened the evening.

The first and only known edition: 2025

The line-up ran from 12 July to 6 August 2025. Molotov opened it on 12 July, followed by Seal (13 July), Texas (14), Trueno (15), Guitarricadelafuente (19), Jethro Tull (20), Travis (23) and Paloma San Basilio (25). UB40 had their night at the end of July and Kool & The Gang closed the series on 6 August.

The local bands tasked with opening included Nueve Desconocidos, Otto, Penélope, Bluenáticos, La 126, Becarios and Viscopaf. The programme relied mainly on classic British and American pop and rock, leaving a couple of dates for urban music and new Spanish-language pop with Trueno and Guitarricadelafuente. At the time, ModoFestival published the full line-up for that edition.

What we know today

Summer 2026 went by with no alma programme at Rabasa, and no dates, artists or ticket sales have been published for a second Alicante edition. The listings and ticketing pages that featured the 2025 edition show no new dates in Alicante. Nor has the end of the project in the city been officially announced: there is simply no new edition.

The brand does keep its other locations. Anyone looking for this open-air concert format can check the pages for alma Barcelona, at the Poble Espanyol, and alma Madrid, at the Parque Tierno Galván.
